A holiday or short break in Devon at Harton Farm is a unique rural
experience which the whole family can enjoy.

The farmhouse dates from the 17th Century and is south-facing, built of stone under a slate roof. It is in a quiet and secluded position at the end of a private tarmac lane and has ample parking.

The accommodation comprises:
* One double-bedded room with adjoining twin-bedded children's room, plus another twin room, the main bedrooms having washbasins and tea-trays. Ideal for a family.
* Fully equipped bathroom with a view - early risers may see the wild red deer in West Meadow from here. Additional WC.
* Character dining room with two separate tables.
* Comfortable, cosy sitting room with colour TV, holiday information and flowers.

There are log fires downstairs, electric fires upstairs and hot water bottles on request

The food - 'Hearty and wholesome' is our motto - in short, real food. The day starts with a full English breakfast and the three-course evening meal is at 7.30pm. Home cooking is our speciality and it includes bread and ice-cream. All the vegetables are home grown and pesticide free, and the pork, beef and lamb are home produced without additives. Roasts, proper puddings and traditional dishes feature strongly on our menus. The flavour and variety of non-convenience food is what we offer. Vegetarian, though not vegan, food is also available.

Visitors are most welcome to explore the farm. Signposts, a leaflet with nature
notes and our working dogs will guide you on you way. Participation in
seasonal farm activities (eg feeding lambs) possible.
