Oakford is centrally placed in Devon, equidistant from the north and south coasts. The walking on Exmoor is magnificent, whether on open moorland, in river valleys or along coastal paths. Riding, shooting and fishing can be arranged. |

Alternatively you may prefer to use us
as a base for places to visit: there are the National Trust properties
of Knightshayes, Arlington, Killerton and Dunster, numerous historical
and picturesque market towns and villages and many beautiful
Devon gardens including RHS Rosemoor. Even on rainy days there are places to visit which will keep the children occupied, such as Watermouth Castle, Quince Honey Farm and Exmoor Steam Railway. |
